Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964:
“No person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.”
TORCH maintains that no individual should be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination on the basis of disability, military service, religion, age, sex, gender identity/expression, or sexual orientation in relationship to any program or activity conducted by TORCH regardless of whether those programs and activities are Federally funded or not.

Carly books are a children’s series about a loveable dog who, along wither her owner/mom found a home through TORCH, our non-profit organization serving the homeless. The books are illustrated by elementary school students and proceeds go toward helping TORCH continue our service to the homeless community of Anderson County, TN.
