You helped Raise a Roof by funding the building of Bookhart Village, temporary housing where homeless families with children can begin to work toward self-sufficiency! With your donation to Keep the Lights On, you can help with successful operations at Bookhart Village that provides housing for six families. Your gift not only aides those who are working to make it on their own but serves our community as well. Secure housing brings success in school and work, leading to increased productivity and a better quality of life. With a location in the center of town, the homes are on the bus routes to schools and in within walking distance to Oak Ridge High School, various service providers and many employment opportunities.
